Frank Macgill is the Firm's Administrative Partner in the Savannah office practicing in the areas of Trusts and Estates, Taxation, ERISA and Employee Benefits, Tax-Exempt Organizations, and Corporate Law. He has experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, federal, state and local tax issues, and tax matters affecting non-profit and tax-exempt organizations.

Mr. Macgill is admitted to practice in the Superior Court of Chatham County and United States Tax Court. He is a member of the Savannah Bar Association and previously served on the Executive Board of its Younger Lawyers Section.  In 2007, Mr. Macgill was appointed to the IRS-Practitioners Liaison Committee as a representative of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member and former President (2007-08) of the Savannah Estate Planning Council.  In 2004, Mr. Macgill was elected to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys for the 2005-2008 term.

Mr. Macgill's community involvement includes serving as a member and 2008-2009 Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Savannah Fund for Excellence in Public Education, Inc. and as a member of the Advisory Board of Island Healthcare, Inc. He is a member of the Telfair Museum of Art and Historic Savannah Foundation.

In 2003, he was selected as one of Savannah's "40 Business Leaders Under 40" by the Savannah Business Report & Journal and named as a "Super Lawyer" by Atlanta Magazine in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In 2007, he was nominated to Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Macgill received his B.S., with distinction, from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia in 1991, and his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1994. At Georgia, he was a member of the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Macgill attended New York University where he received his masters (LL.M) in Taxation in 1995.
