R. Scott Tobin is a member of HunterMaclean's Corporate Law practice group. Mr. Tobin brings 25 years of experience as a lawyer, senior executive, software entrepreneur and venture capitalist, providing a depth of experience invaluable to HunterMaclean clients.

Mr. Tobin’s varied career includes service as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, Managing Partner of the Atlanta office of a major European law firm, General Counsel to a global software firm, Executive Vice President for Global Strategies for a publicly traded technology company and CEO of a North Carolina manufacturer. He was recognized in 2003 as one of the top 10 business people in the Triad region of North Carolina.

Mr. Tobin is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and its School of Law where he now serves as President and Chairman of its foundation. He holds an AV rating from the global attorney peer review rating service Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards.
