Edgar M. Smith is a member of the firm’s real estate group, where he concentrates his practice in general real estate, general real estate litigation, and environmental law.

A native of Plains, Georgia, Mr. Smith is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor with cum laude honors. While at the University of Georgia, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and was initiated to the Gridiron Secret Society.  In 2001 Mr. Smith received his B.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia Southern University, where he graduated summa cum laude.  While at Georgia Southern, Mr. Smith was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.

Edgar is actively involved in the community as a volunteer with Junior Achievement and a member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.  He and his wife Awbrey reside in Savannah with their two children, Addison and Jackson.
