Kate Dodson Strain is an Associate in the Savannah office, practicing in the areas of  Bankruptcy and Intellectual Property.

Ms. Strain graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in English from the University of Georgia. She received a certificate of High Honors from the Honors Program.

After teaching English, Creative Writing, and Journalism at Stratford Academy in Macon, Georgia for five years, Ms. Strain began her law school career at Tulane Law School in 2000. She was a research assistant for Michael G. Collins, a well-renowned civil procedure professor. She graded on to the Moot Court team after her first year.

In 2001, Ms. Strain transferred to the University of Georgia School of Law where she graduated cum laude in May of 2003.
