Ervin was a quadriplegic due to a truck accident and = contended lessor of truck had uninsured motorist coverage of $2M. = Plaintiff=20 contended Virginia law where policy delivered governed and would have = provided=20 $2M UM coverage. Accident occurred in S.C. Truck was garaged in Georgia. = Defendant filed motion for summary judgment in declaratory action = contending=20 Georgia law applied which granted finding of no uninsured motorist=20 coverage.

 

Jeffers v. = Estate=20 of=20 Fritch, (Not = reported)=20 Represented Plaintiff in clear liability case. Serious bodily injury and = business loss. Groover v. = Employer &=20 Legion Indemnity. (Not = reported).=20 Construction employer believed it purchased workers=92 compensation = coverage from=20 broker through client Legion Indemnity. Numerous parties and potentials = of high=20 workers=92 compensation award (likely compensation / E & 0 approx = 500-700M).
