R. Scott Tobin Joins HunterMaclean

HunterMaclean is pleased to announce that attorney R. Scott Tobin recently joined the law firm’s Corporate Law practice group.
An experienced entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Tobin most recently served as special counsel to Nexsen Pruett Adams Kleemeier in Greensboro, N.C., where his practice focused on corporate governance, technology acquisitions and finance. His career includes work as an international advisor for European businesses, an assistant attorney general for the State of Georgia, and chairman and CEO of a North Carolina manufacturing firm.
His 25 years of involvement and participation in business as a senior executive, lawyer, software entrepreneur and strategist provide a depth of experience that will be invaluable to Hunter Maclean clients.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the UNC School of Law, Tobin currently serves as a director of the UNC School of Law Foundation, and was a founding director of the UNC School of Law Initiative for Corporate Governance and a member of the UNC School of Law Council for Entrepreneurial Law. He was recognized in 2003 as one of the Top 10 business people in the Triad Region of North Carolina.
