Meredith Shultz joins Real Estate Group

The law firm of HunterMaclean recently hired Meredith L. Shultz to serve as an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. 

Before joining HunterMaclean, Shultz worked as an intern at a Savannah law firm and as an intern and translator for the Hispanic outreach division of Atlanta Legal Aid in Decatur. She also served as a tutor for non-English speaking employees and students in Boston. 

A graduate of Savannah Country Day School, Shultz earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from Emory University. As a student, she was a member of the Women’s Law Student Association, Equal Justice Foundation, Student Bar Association, and Phi Sigma Iota Foreign Language National Honor Society. She was also the founder and president of the Animal Legal Protection Organization at the University of Georgia School of Law, secretary for the Hispanic Law Student Association and a translator at the United Cerebral Palsy Center.

Originally from Savannah, she a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Association. In addition to practicing law, she designs jewelry, plays soccer, speaks fluent Spanish and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She currently resides in Ardsley Park.
