Christopher W. Lempesis, Jr. Joins HunterMaclean's Litigation Group

HunterMaclean recently hired attorney Christopher W. Lempesis, Jr. to serve as an associate in the firm’s litigation group. In his new position, he will work in a range of areas including construction law and admiralty law.
Before joining HunterMaclean, Lempesis served with the U.S. Air Force in Operation Iraqi Freedom and spent three years in the Georgia Air National Guard, where he was awarded the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Award. He also worked as a law clerk at law firms while attending law school.
Lempesis earned a B.A. in Philosophy at Clemson University, a J.D. degree from the Charleston School of Law and an LL.M. from Tulane University Law School. He was a Dean’s Scholar and the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Charleston School of Law’s Maritime Law Bulletin. While at Tulane University’s Law School, Lempesis served as a write-on member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and was awarded a CALI Award for Academic Excellence. Originally from Columbia, S.C., he currently resides in midtown Savannah.
