HunterMaclean, a leading law firm headquartered in Savannah, recently hired attorney Steve Monnier as an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation group.

A former summer associate at HunterMaclean, Monnier previously worked as a clerk in the Richland County Public Defender's Office in Columbia, S.C. and as an intern for the Georgia Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission.

Originally from Rochester, N.Y., Monnier earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009 and graduated summa cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006 with bachelor’s degrees in both Public Policy and International Affairs.

He has earned CALI Awards for Federal Income Tax and Employment Discrimination and currently resides in Savannah.
