HunterMaclean's Immigration attorneys advise businesses, employers and individuals on all aspects of immigration issues arising under the federal immigration laws. The firm's objective is to assist clients in the development of immigration strategies to ensure that a company's foreign national employees are able to work lawfully in the United States. The Firm's Immigration attorneys represent various national and international clients in front of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the U.S. State Department, various U.S. Consulates abroad and the U.S. Department of Labor for all immigration matters arising under the law including IIRIRA, IMMACT, NAFTA and MATINA.

HunterMaclean's Immigration attorneys have counseled clients on all types of business immigration services including the use of the B, C, D, E, F, H, J, L, R, TN and VWPP visa categories as well as the sponsorship of non-U.S. citizens for permanent residency (either through employment, marriage to a U.S. citizen, or the national interest waiver) and U.S. citizenship. Furthermore, the Firm provides advice to assist employers in carrying out their responsibilities under the immigration regulations and both the State and U.S. Department of Labor guidelines, including the documentation of recruitment efforts, the payment of the prevailing wage and the maintenance of the foreign national employee's immigration status. Additional services include counseling individuals in asylum and deportation proceedings.
