Ada-Marie Aman is special counsel practicing in the areas of trusts and estates and corporate law. Ada-Marie’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, manufacturer and dealer relations, and estate planning and administration.

Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Ada-Marie worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as a member of the Attorney General’s Honors Program.

Ada-Marie graduated from William and Mary School of Law in 2002. While in law school, Ada-Marie served as the executive editor of the William and Mary Bill of Rights Journal and was the recipient of the Thomas Jefferson prize for outstanding student note and the Legal Skills Scholar Award for excellence in legal research and writing. Ada-Marie graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in 1999.

  • Advised an international semitrailer manufacturer in a corporate-wide sales initiative impacting its extensive U.S. dealer network.
  • Successfully defended an international farm equipment dealer from termination by manufacturer.  
  • Regularly advise international equipment manufacturers on U.S. dealer relations matters, including termination and amendments to dealership agreements.
  • Regularly advise commercial clients on secured transactions, UCC security interest filing, and related matters. 
  • Regularly advise high-net-worth individuals on estate planning and tax minimization strategies.
  • Regularly advise individuals and trustees on trust and estate administration, probate, and non-probate asset transfers.
