Robert Hurst is an associate in the Savannah office, where he focuses his practice on business litigation and Georgia property tax issues and appeals. Robert participated in HunterMaclean’s 2020 summer associate program.

Robert earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Wig and Robe and the student works editor for the South Carolina Law Review. Robert also served as a summer law clerk for the CHAMPS Law Clinic, which takes on legal cases on behalf of low-income children and families struggling with health-related legal issues.

A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Robert graduated from St. John’s College in 2007 with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. He worked for several years as a freelance writer and publisher of tourist magazines in South Carolina before pursuing a legal career. Robert now lives in Bluffton with his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Sam.
