Women at HunterMaclean
Women have a significant role at HunterMaclean. More than 30% of all attorneys are female, exceeding the national law firm average. Nearly twenty percent of the firm’s partners are women, outpacing the average in the 2012 National Association of Women Lawyers survey. Women are active in management, holding top positions and serving on the Management Committee. In addition, many of the firm’s top practice groups – from Information Technology & Outsourcing to ERISA & Employee Benefits — are led by women.
With the leadership of Sarah Lamar, the Firm developed and now presents the HunterMaclean Women’s Initiative. Twice each year the Women’s Initiative is held at different Savannah businesses that are owned or run by women. The invitational event fosters peer-to-peer networking to connect top area executives, community leaders, business owners and decision-makers and encourage professional development, business synergy, and community service.
HunterMaclean complies with all applicable equal opportunity federal and state laws. Accordingly, the Firm will recruit, hire and promote for jobs without regard to sex, gender, race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, or military status.
