The HunterMaclean Women’s Initiative Fall Gathering took place on October 29, 2014, at Savannah’s art-retail-food-event-business location, Cohen’s Retreat. Located on Skidaway Road in a rambling brick building that once housed a home for elderly men, the space has been completely repurposed as a stylish retail venue, restaurant, and “Art Tank” space, where classes and events are held. Cottages behind the main building are home to a number of creative businesses. Martha Nesbit, the Educational Coordinator at Cohen’s Retreat, gave a short presentation for the event.
The Women’s Initiative unites top area executives, community leaders, business owners and decision-makers to encourage networking and professional development.
