HunterMaclean’s annual Women’s Initiative Wine Tasting took place on May 2, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Academy. Principal Mary Anne Hogan shared how St. Vincent’s prepares students to become “Women Who Lead.”
The 2017 Women’s Initiative Fall Event took place on November 28, 2017, at Salacia Salt Studio. Attendees enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of the studio and an opportunity to learn how to make their own products.
HunterMaclean hosted the Women’s Initiative Wine & Chocolate Tasting on April 19, 2017, in the Davenport House garden. Wine expert Kathleen O’Sullivan from National Distributing Company selected the wines, and Cynthia Creighton-Jones of Cape Creations prepared the chocolates.
The Fall Gathering took place at Belford’s Savannah Seafood and Steaks in the heart of City Market. Historic Belford’s is home to some of the South’s finest cuisine. In preparation for the holiday season, this event also included a trunk show from several City Market vendors.
The theme for this wine tasting was Hollywood: Wines and Wineries. Kathleen O’Sullivan, the On Premise Division Manager for National Distributing Co & Atlanta Wholesale Wine, put together a list of wines that were either started by filmmakers or inspired by movies.
HunterMaclean hosted its Fall Women’s Initiative on November 17 at Smith Brothers Butcher Shop. Attendees explored Smith Brothers’ new location while enjoying an assortment of appetizers and wines.
The HunterMaclean Women’s Initiative returned to The Whitman this year for its 6th Annual Wine Tasting on February 26. Kathleen O’Sullivan, the On Premise Division Manager for National Distributing Co & Atlanta Wholesale Wine, specially selected wines for the event.
The 2014 Fall Gathering took place at Savannah’s art-retail-food-event-business location, Cohen’s Retreat. Located on Skidaway Road in a rambling brick building that once housed a home for elderly men, the space has been completely repurposed as a stylish retail venue, restaurant, and “Art Tank” space.
The HunterMaclean Women’s Initiative held its Fifth Annual Wine Tasting event on February 19, 2014, at The Whitman. Kathleen O’Sullivan, the Fine Wine/On Premise Division Manager for National Distributing Co & Atlanta Wholesale Wine, assembled wines made by women winemakers.
