HunterMaclean’s annual Women’s Initiative Wine Tasting took place on May 2, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Academy. Principal Mary Anne Hogan shared how St. Vincent’s prepares students to become “Women Who Lead.”
The 2017 Women’s Initiative Fall Event took place on November 28, 2017, at Salacia Salt Studio. Attendees enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of the studio and an opportunity to learn how to make their own products.
HunterMaclean hosted the Women’s Initiative Wine & Chocolate Tasting on April 19, 2017, in the Davenport House garden. Wine expert Kathleen O’Sullivan from National Distributing Company selected the wines, and Cynthia Creighton-Jones of Cape Creations prepared the chocolates.
The Fall Gathering took place at Belford’s Savannah Seafood and Steaks in the heart of City Market. Historic Belford’s is home to some of the South’s finest cuisine. In preparation for the holiday season, this event also included a trunk show from several City Market vendors.
The 2016 Brunswick Critical Issues Forum took place on Thursday, September 29, at the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA) Conference Center and focused on Entrepreneurship Ecosystems. The forum provided an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear speakers offer perspectives on developing entrepreneurship in Brunswick and the Golden Isles.
