YLD Golf Tournament Raises $8,000 for Savannah Guardian Ad Litem Program

July 16, 2013

On Monday July 15th, members of the Savannah Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Executive Board presented the Savannah Guardian Ad Litem program with a check for $8000.00. The money was raised through the YLD’s Eighth Annual Savannah Guardian Ad Litem Charity Golf Tournament, which took place in June of this year at the Plantation Course at The Landings.

The Savannah Guardian Ad Litem program serves the community by protecting and advocating for the interests of children involved in domestic litigation. Judge Karpf was present to accept the check on behalf of the Guardian Ad Litem program.

Savannah litigator Heather Hammonds Lundy is Secretary of the YLD and organized HunterMaclean’s participation in the tournament. She also played the event along with fellow HunterMaclean attorneys Kate Lawson, Carson Bacon Penney, Allan Galis, and Edgar Smith. The check presentation was covered by WJCL.
