Amber Seymour is an associate in HunterMaclean’s Savannah office. As a member of the commercial real estate group, she focuses her practice on handling real estate transactions and title insurance matters, including resolving problems with title abstracts. Amber has a diverse legal background that includes experience in residential real estate, estate planning, probate, employment, criminal, and family law. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

A native of Savannah, Amber graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. While in law school, Amber participated in the University of Miami’s HOPE Pro Bono Fellowship program with the Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire and the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office. She also worked through an externship with Disability Independence Group in Miami. While studying in Dublin, Amber interned with Orpen Franks Solicitors’ estate planning group.

Amber serves as a board member for the Savannah Jaycees, Chatham Sailing Club, and the Daughters of Ireland. She is also a representative of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and a certified mediator for civil and domestic cases in Georgia. In her free time, Amber enjoys water activities, philosophy, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Bear.
