J. Reid Williamson III practices within the Firm’s Estates and Trusts group. His practice concentrates in the areas of probate, estates, trusts, fiduciary law, wills and real estate.

An experienced probate and estate planning attorney, Mr. Williamson also has served as Senior Vice President and Principal of a local investment advisory firm from 2000 to 2007, and frequently serves as executor, trustee, or guardian. His accomplished career also includes work as a Partner at HunterMaclean prior to 2000.

Originally from Savannah, Mr. Williamson attended Savannah Country Day School and Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, before graduating magna cum laude from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science in 1982. He earned a J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1985.
