Georgia Tech Learning Series – Hiring, Retaining, and Engaging the Millennial Workforce

May 19, 2016

The HunterMaclean Employment Group is pleased to be a sponsor of the upcoming Georgia Tech-Savannah presentation on Hiring, Retaining, and Engaging the Millennial Workforce.

Gabrielle Jackson Bosché, president and founder of the Millennial Solution and author of 5 Millennial Myths: The Handbook for Managing and Motivating Millennials, will address Georgia Tech-Savannah’s May Learning Series Thursday, May 19, about how to hire, engage and retain the next generation of leaders.

“Millennials are the largest generation in the U.S. workforce and will comprise 75 percent of the workforce by the year 2030. Bridging the generation gap poses special challenges to businesses, with 53 percent of hiring managers saying it’s difficult to find and retain millennials, and 58 percent of millennials indicating they expect to leave a job in three years or less,” said Diane Lee, director of Georgia Tech-Savannah. “We’re excited to be able to bring Gabrielle to Savannah to share how business owners can create a work environment that millennials love and keep the future leaders engaged long-term.”

During the interactive talk, Bosché will describe how to create and maximize a multigenerational workforce through attracting, retaining, optimizing, and monetizing millennials. In addition, she will share millennial success strategies and help develop a mentoring program that will not only allow millennials to survive, but thrive in an organization.

Currently residing in D.C., Bosché is known for bringing her passion and practical teaching style to solving the challenge of and creating cohesive multigenerational workplaces. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from William Jessup University and a graduate degree in government from Regent University.

The May 19 session will be held on the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus at 210 Technology Circle and will begin with networking and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. with the program following at 8 – 9:30 a.m. Cost is $25.
