Location Isn’t Everything

April 28, 2015
Attorney Daniel R. Crook

Presented in partnership with the Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Georgia Southern University, and the City of Savannah, this class is designed for existing and new business owners who are looking for a physical location to lease or purchase.

The class will take attendees through the process, starting with identifying an ideal location to the actual signing of the lease or purchase agreement. Topics that are covered include: lease legalities, site selection, rent calculations, negotiations, additional costs that may be incurred, potential landlord contributions, and zoning. Resources for demographic research will be introduced and demonstrated as well as other local resources for business owners.
