In 2004, HunterMaclean launched the Savannah Critical Issues Forum, an annual speaker series that brings together area business leaders, educators, non-profit leaders and political officials to develop potential solutions to important community challenges in areas such as transportation, education, and economic development.

The Critical Issues Forum features regional and local speakers presenting on timely topics in a wide range of fields.

The Inaugural Brunswick Critical Issues Forum was held in October 2012 and has continued annually with topics important to the Golden Isles business community.

Savannah Critical Issues Forum: Creating the Best Downtowns in America

The 2014 Savannah Critical Issues Forum, Building the Best Downtowns in America, was held October 8 at the Savannah Technical College. Presented in partnership with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and the Savannah Economic Development Authority, this year’s forum featured keynote speaker Mayor Knox White of Greenville, S.C.

Brunswick Critical Issues Forum – Economic Development

On August 28 HunterMaclean, the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, and the Brunswick/Golden Isles Economic Development Authority presented a half-day of events focused on economic development for Brunswick and Glynn County. More than 100 business and civic leaders attended the HunterMaclean Critical Issues Forum and the Brunswick/Glynn County Economic Development Forum.
