HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Brunswick and Savannah, is pleased to announce that Christopher R. Jordan has recently joined the firm as a partner in the Business Litigation Group.
Jordan is an experienced litigator with significant work at both the trial and appellate levels. He focuses his practice in a wide range of matters involving railroad and transportation industries, toxic torts and transportation law, and frequently presents to groups throughout the country on these issues. He has defended some of the country’s largest railroads in toxic tort, product liability and other personal injury cases in state and federal courts throughout the southeastern United States. Jordan has also maintained an active business litigation practice throughout southeast Georgia and Atlanta, representing a diverse range of clients in matters such as contractual disputes and business torts.
“Chris has established a well-respected practice within Brunswick and the Golden Isles,” said HunterMaclean Managing Partner Brad Harmon. “His knowledge and expertise will certainly be an asset to our firm and its clients.”
A native of Glynn County, Chris is an active member of the community. A graduate of Leadership Glynn, he currently serves on the board of the STAR Foundation of Coastal Georgia, a nonprofit organization that offers technological, financial, and life skills training to adults seeking sustainable employment. He has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in Transportation/Maritime for the past four years, and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the National Association of Railroad Trail Counsel.
Jordan earned his Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Duke University.
