Georgia Trend recently honored three accomplished HunterMaclean partners in the magazine’s annual “Legal Elite” issue, which recognizes the top attorneys in the state of Georgia. Firm partners W. Brooks Stillwell, Wade W. Herring II and Frank S. Macgill are featured in the magazine’s December 2009 issue.
W. Brooks Stillwell is a partner at HunterMaclean concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, business litigation and bankruptcy/workouts. He has extensive experience representing major national real estate clients in commercial real estate development, including public-private partnerships, land acquisition, planning and zoning, industrial development and governmental relations. Stillwell is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for real estate law and is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
A longtime partner at HunterMaclean, Wade W. Herring II represents businesses and management, with a practice that focuses on all aspects of employment problems and issues, including internal employment practices, wage-hour issues, drug testing, sexual harassment, equal employment opportunity, the Americans with Disabilities Act and employee benefits. The former president of the Savannah Bar Association, he has previously been included in Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite,” The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
Frank S. Macgill serves as the firm’s Administrative Partner, practicing in the areas of trusts and estates, taxation, tax-exempt organizations and corporate law. He has experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, federal, state and local tax issues, and tax matters affecting non-profit and tax-exempt organizations. He has been selected as one of Savannah’s “”40 Business Leaders Under 40” by the Savannah Business Journal, named a “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine and nominated to The Best Lawyers in America.
