Gary Redwine concentrates his practice on commercial real estate and structured finance. His commercial real estate experience includes originating loans secured by real estate assets of all types, such as office, retail, hotel, multifamily, condominium, and industrial properties. Gary has extensive experience representing commercial banks, insurance companies, and real estate investment trusts. He also represents local and regional lenders and developers in matters of acquisition, development, and leasing.


Representative Engagements

  • Representing lenders and borrowers in connection with single-asset and portfolio loan structures, short-term/floating rate and permanent loan originations, mezzanine financings, and financings planned for securitization.
  • Handling origination of debt secured by real estate assets of all types, including office, retail, hotel, multifamily, condominium, and industrial properties, as well as various borrower structures, including tenancy-in-common and Delaware Statutory Trust structures.
  • Representing clients in both routine and sophisticated serving matters.
  • Representing lenders and borrowers with respect to the modification, restructuring, and forbearance of distressed mortgage loans.
  • Representing lenders in securitized lending, including the origination, servicing, and defeasance of CMBS loans.
  • Represented lender in connection with the origination and modification of an $82 million loan secured by a 55+ community located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
  • Represented lenders in numerous portfolio loan originations secured by self-storage properties located throughout the United States.
