Freddy Stroud is an associate in HunterMaclean’s St. Simons office, where he practices in the firm’s Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Corporate Practice groups.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, Freddy earned dual degrees in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance in 2019, followed by his J.D. from UGA School of Law. During law school, he was active in the Student Bar Association and the Business Law Society. Additionally, he was a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property.

In undergrad, Freddy was a Presidential Scholar, served on the executive committee of Gamma Iota Sigma, and earned NIRCA All-Region honors in cross-country running.

Freddy served as a summer associate with HunterMaclean in 2023. Before joining the firm, he also worked as a licensed investment specialist at Merrill Edge and interned as an analyst with Merrill Lynch.

Outside of work, Freddy enjoys sailing, running, and fishing.
