Representative Engagements

• Represented ocean carrier in obtaining summary judgment in personal injury lawsuit brought by longshoreman.

• Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of logistics provider in large-scale cargo damage matter.

• Has assisted a naval architect in his defense against a shipbuilder’s breach of contract claim, resulting in a defense jury verdict, and pursued a successful breach of contract counterclaim against that shipbuilder.

• Advising companies on allocation of responsibility for OSHA investigations, penalties, etc. in contractual agreements with third parties

• Providing advice concerning employment issues arising during Maritime, Transportation and Warehouse operations. This has included authoring employment manuals for Warehouse and Transportation operations in several states and rendering advice in employee specific circumstances on an ongoing basis.
