HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently announced that attorney Zachary B. Harris has rejoined the firm’s Real Estate Group.
Zach has significant experience in commercial real estate transactions and development projects, commercial leasing and landlord tenant disputes, community associations, land use and zoning, government affairs, and permitting.
Prior to rejoining HunterMaclean, he served as in-house counsel for the Jekyll Island Authority. In this role, he oversaw an extensive commercial leasing portfolio, supervised procurement and contract matters, and managed intellectual property assets.
Zach is an active member of his community and has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and as a member of the Georgia Coastal Marshlands Protection Committee, the Shore Protection Committee, and the Brunswick Area Transportation Study Citizens’ Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Glynn and a supporter of the Glynn County Bar Association, the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and the St. Simons Land Trust.
Zach earned his B.A. in Political Science and Religion from Emory University and his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law.
