HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently announced that attorney Rachel Tropper has joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Rachel brings significant experience in commercial real estate finance, with a focus on multifamily housing transactions and loan servicing. Her work includes representing institutional lenders in a range of matters such as organizational transfers, easements, leases, partial releases, and condominium conversions.
Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Rachel practiced in the Richmond, Virginia office of Troutman Pepper Locke, where she worked with the Multifamily Housing Financing and Loan Servicing Team. Her work regularly involved navigating multifaceted legal and regulatory considerations to support successful closings and long-term asset management.
A Georgia native, Rachel earned her B.S. in International Affairs, with highest honors, from Georgia Tech in 2017, and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2020. While in law school, she received the CALI Award for Constitutional Law II and served on the editorial and managing boards of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. She was also completed multiple legal externships, including with Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and the Probate Court of Athens-Clarke County.
