Tinsley Griffin Hill Joins HunterMaclean’s Litigation Practice Group

HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently announced that attorney Tinsley Griffin Hill has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Tinsley practiced at Carr Allison in Birmingham, Alabama, where she represented national and local clients in a range of employment-related disputes. She previously served as an attorney with the Alabama Law Institute, working with the state’s Legislative Services Agency on policy and legislative matters involving family law, election procedures, probate law, and healthcare reform. Earlier in her career, she maintained a solo practice handling cases related to domestic relations, landlord-tenant issues, and confidentiality protections.

Tinsley earned both her J.D. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Alabama, becoming the first woman to complete the school’s joint degree program. During law school, she was President of the Christian Legal Society, served on the Managing Board of the Journal of the Legal Profession, and was active in moot court and service organizations. She was awarded the Order of the Samaritan, given to Alabama Law students who demonstrate excellence in service to the community. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Mobile, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Weaver Award as the highest-ranking female graduate.

A Savannah native, Tinsley is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and involved with the Distinguished Young Women of America Program.
