HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently announced that attorney Will Hughes has joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Will worked as an associate attorney with Slutzky Wolfe & Bailey, LLP in Atlanta, where he managed commercial real estate transactions.
Will received his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, where he received a four-year Academic Excellence Scholarship. While in law school, he worked for the Georgia Secretary of State and in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, helping individuals resolve disputes with the IRS.
Prior to law school, Will held roles in state and federal government, including legislative work with the Georgia Secretary of State and internships on Capitol Hill.
Outside of the office, Will is a competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt.
